The Old Homestead House Museum is located in an original 1890s brothel in Cripple Creek's Red Light District. The museum is open daily from Memorial Day through to the first weekend in October. The Cripple Creek District Museum is housed in three buildings: the Midland Terminal Railway Depot built in 1895, a turn-of-the-century office and the 1893 Colorado Trading and Transfer Building. Mining artifacts, Victorian clothing, American Indian items and other unique pieces are found at this museum. Open daily during the summer and weekends only in the winter.
